Today I started a 21-day detox diet and this was how my first day looked.
Breakfast:
Serves 1
1 grapefruit
1 big glass of water with 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 cup of green tea
Snack:
1 glass of hot water with fresh mint
Blackberries
Lunch:
Serves 1
1/2 cup cooked black beans, make some extra so you will have for dinner as well.
1/2 avocado
1/2 cup peas
1 handful ice berg salad sliced
Season with fresh lemon juice, olive oil, Himalayan salt and black pepper
Juice from Passion Café:
1 glass
1 orange peeled
1/2 lemon peeled
2-3 carrots
1/2 fennel
1 tsp turmeric
Juice all the ingredients in your juicer and after stir in the turmeric.
Dinner:
Steamed broccoli, asparagus and grilled zucchini with quinoa mixed with black beans. For the zucchini I use my grill-pan with out oil.
Serves 2
1 small zucchini sliced
1 small broccoli
10 asparagus
1 cup quinoa cooked
1/2 cup black beans cooked
Dressing
1 garlic clove crushed
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp olive oil
Himalayan salt and freshly ground pepper
Let me just add, that I drank about 2 litres of water today!
